FR - Quick Subheadings #112

First, thank you for the plugin! It really helps me with working on larger files and structuring my notes.

What I really love is the ability to drag and drop headings in the TOC and that the heading level get's adjusted to fit the structure. Currently it isn't possible to create a child to another heading. It works if there are already some subheadings and move in the current one in between. But if there aren't already some subheadings, it's not possible to create a next level.

I would imagine it to work like the usual outliner, where one could either move in the item as a sibling (dragging slightly above/beyond) or create a child (right on top of it, or a bit to the right).

Currently I create arbitrary subheadings in order to quickly arrange the headings, so this feature would enhance the workflow significantly.

Best regards!

I'm also struggling with this. I wish the "automatic heading level" could just be disabled since I can't trust it. If I move an H2 below an H1 at the bottom of note, it becomes an H1.

Yes, it would be extremely helpful if we could drag any heading on top of an existing heading so that it could become a child/subheading. As the OP said, this only works if the heading already has child/subheadings.
