I vote for a(n easy) way to at least export the data -- both for backup
purposes and for external analysis. Say, I want to graph my sleep patterns
against the weather to see if there's a strong correlation there, etc. So,
exporting in some nice usable format would be great.

I sugest for a dropbox (and possibly other cloud services) syncronization

Because of a new firmware my old data of electric sleep is of course not shown in the app. I recently made a nandroid-backup of my phone so the data should be somewhere stored right? I have in mind that in an earlier version there was an export function, or was it a different app?

So backing up the data is possible when you are root, e.g. with an nandroid
backup from recovery, or on an rooted phone with titanium backup. after you
switched to a new phone or what ever (new firmware flashed) you can put it back
in the right place.
