Alarm clock problem #163

What version of ElectricSleep are you using?

On what android device and android version?
beta

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set alarm for five or more hours later and wait for it to go off
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the alarm has been going off earlier than set for past two mornings.

Please provide any additional information below.

this app Is actually causing me to lose sleep...

The app will alarm BEFORE OR AT THE TIME YOU SET (if you are using the smart
alarm feature).

but thats the problem..it is alarming BEFORE the time I set it...

If I understand you, then the app is doing its job. You set up a length of
time that you'd like the app to possibly wake you up before the alarm you
set. If it wakes you up, say, 5 hours before the time you set, and that is
not what you wanted, then this is a problem.

Ah thanks for the explanation..I guess I just want it to wake me up at a 
certain time..For instance, I set it for 5 am this morning and was woken up at 
4:33am.  I definitely didn't want that...how do I change it so it only wakes up 
me at the time I want?

Menu button > Settings > Uncheck Light Sleep Pre-Alarm

That way it will only record your movements, and will not wake you up before
your alarm is set.
