I tried automatic calibration for movement in earlier versions. It didn't work
well because of hardware differences. So I changed movement calibration to be
more interactive so that the user can visually see how sensitive electricsleep
is to their movement.
Not presenting calibration to users when they first install would leave most
users unaware of the feature and many would just use default values then
complain "DON'T WURK" the next morning when their alarm didn't go off due to
not enough sensitivity or them having an android 2.1 or a non-compliant device
that doesn't support accelerometer use when the screen is off.
There are smoother ways to both inform the user what is going on and to get the
right calibrations, but I haven't fully explored other options yet.
