What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set monitor type to POLO (I have a Hantarex Polo 28)
2. Try to run Puckman, Invaders or other vertical game. The image gets
scrambled.
3. switchres --calc puckman gives a resolution of 400x<something> without
interlacing (this is unsupported by the monitor).
Dirty Fix:
If I set the monitor type in mame.ini to NTSC, switchres --calc gives 640x480
interlaces and puckman works (but other problems arise, like advmenu image
alignment).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a game with good image. I see a scrambled image.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I used groovymame 0.152 (I think) and I'm certain of 0.148u1 (the one that
comes with the .iso)
Please provide any additional information below.
I'll provide more information, if it is needed and if someone replies to this
