Choose the location #3

Ok, once we assemble the station, we need to deploy it somewhere. There are at least 3 possible locations:

Prof. Moszyński said we could get permission to go on the roof. So one less problem.

I think we need to get more info (Slawek's to-do list) to decide about placement of all devices - so far I have no opinion on this matter.

There's a limit on USB cable length. IIRC it was 5m. If the cable is too long, the signal may be too weak.

Personally, I'd go with RPi on the roof.

One other aspect for research is PoE (Power over Ethernet). If we manage to find a RPi that supports it, there would be one less cable to worry about.

Ok, there's one more complication. If we decide to use LNA, it requires a power supply as well.

Since the new antenna is located on my balcony, there's no need to provide connectivity to ETI faculty's roof.

It seems that the setup is currently being run on Tomek's balcony. Unless we come with compelling reasons to move it to ETI roof, we should keep it as it is for now. Relocation is a something to consider past 1.0 milestone.
