Acquire SDR hardware #8

We need to get a reasonable SDR hardware. I've found this one: RTL-SDR v3 R820T2 on allegro. This seems like a good start.

I also have a very cheap (45pln) SDR DVB-T tv tuner on usb. I'm travelling right now and don't know the exact model. It's a cheap one with plastic case. But I think it's based on the same chip. So it could be used for early experiments, at least before the proper hardware arrives.

We got approval from dr Siwicki and prof. Moszyński added his blessings for that. There's some procedure to be followed, but we're sure it's doable.

Decision: Antenna will be installed on ETI roof.

Except Ethernet we need also the power.

We should analyze where RPi must and may be located: on the roof near antenna or in any laboratory. I suppose that RPi will not be 100% stable and we sometimes will to reset and update them. Entrance to the roof is more complicated then go to room.

We can meet dr Wojciech Siwicki. He can help us to place the antenna on the roof. His opinions and knowledge (and maybe hardware) may be helpful in our work too.

Sounds good. Help of a local expert will be very precious. I hope they have Ethernet connectivity up there on the roof. Or at least some way to lay new Eth cables.
