Moved onto a new PC, and wondered why all my bakes for previous projects didn't have Bicupic Interpolation.
For whatever reason, the shader tweaks will not stay "on." I open the menu, turn on any of the shader tweaks, close the menu, and upon reopening they're turned "off." Stays the same after an editor restart.
Alarmingly, bicubic interpolation doesn't work even on the Bakery shaders. Shadows are jagged and results are noisy:
A little hard to tell here but I checked on other projects and signs were very clear that bicubic interpolation was not functional.
The shader tweaks also wouldn't stick on a completely fresh project.
I assume this is either from the move to Windows 11 or the use of a new 4070ti.
Unity version is the same as I've used before (2019.4.31f1)
Bakery version is latest as of the asset store, and patched with today's releases on GitHub.
Here's my specs:
Windows 11 Home 22H2
Ryzen 7 7700x
Nvidia RTX 4070ti
32GB DDR5 RAM
Here's my previous specs (worked fine on this PC):
Windows 10
Intel i7 6700
Nvidia GTX 1080
16GB DDR4 RAM
Problem solved: turns out I needed to run the editor as admin.
There’s still some problems (generally messy/splotchy results) but I’ll give them a proper test and report if needed.
