my usb endoscope camera isnt recognized #752

Starting Octprint for first time

  1. ... i reviewed the current help docs to find out how to change configuration to handle this device
  2. i added the -y parm as suggested, no changes observed
  3. .. i then reset the parm string and added the parm: additional_brokenfps_usb_devices=(1902:8301) to the octopi.txt file, no observable change
  4. ...

What did you expect to happen? webstream camera would work properly with octoprint/linux

What happened instead? webstream never loaded

Did the same happen when running OctoPrint in safe mode? yes

Version of OctoPi

Printer model & used firmware incl. version

What is the output of dmesg? Does it say anything when you plug the device?
