Sounds good. I would prefer to keep my own involvement to a minimum, as I am having some issues around public speaking currently. But since it's my PEP too, I wouldn't mind a cameo in some form. :-)
As Brandt has already mentioned, I am happy to propose and give a talk (of course, given that we have favourable winds on our sails).
I think Tobias would do great presenting in PyCon, I hope the talk submission went well.
I was keen to prepare something on pattern matching for EuroPython 2021 if that's ok, was there any of you planning to present there? I'm preparing a very rough version of that may be presented quite soon in one of the py.amsterdam meetups (someone there invited me).
Go for it!

Great job @Tobias-Kohn!
Thanks Tobias for representing us out there!
I was beat after two summits (language and typing) and doing an AMA on Friday, and I missed PyCon proper. Tobias, is your talk on YouTube yet?
I don't know if it's on YouTube yet, but if you are signed into the conferencing platform you can rewatch it here:
https://pyconus2021.hubilo.com/community/#/session-stream/57618
(The slides were originally cropped in the video, but it looks like that's been fixed.)
For the record, slides at https://tpython.tobiaskohn.ch/PyPatternMatching.pdf
Those slides look great, I'm looking forward to watch the presentation after they upload it, congratulations Tobias!
PS: I 've submitted something for europython, we'll see how that goes
Thank you very much for your trust and support ^_^.
I think the talks are not yet on YouTube, but should you not have access to the PyCon link Brandt has posted, I can upload the talk to my server (@brandtbucher: thanks for posting the link, I had not seen the comment at the end, yet). Just let me know!
The slides do not perfectly match the talk, though. The first few versions of my talk were all too long and I therefore had to drop various sections and parts of it—including an entire 'chapter' so to speak—which are still part of the slides. Since I had not expected having to upload the slides so quickly for all to follow my talk, I had not bothered removing those extra slides.
Finally, @dmoisset: Good luck, Daniel! It would be great if you could also have a talk at EuroPython.
P.S. @gvanrossum: I already felt the same after the language summit alone :). It was certainly one of the best organised conferences and I enjoyed every minute of it. However, following all the different communication channels simultaneously (not to mention the challenge of getting it all onto one screen ) and trying to react to it all in the middle of the night proved quite a challenge.
The PyCon 2021 call for proposals is open. It looks like the talks will all be pre-recorded.
I think it would be really cool for at least one member of our group to propose a talk covering our work over the past year. Given what a fantastic job @Tobias-Kohn did with the DLS presentations, I probably speak for the group when I say that I think a more specific, in-depth review of our PEPs from him would be really valuable to the community! (Spoiler: I already asked him and he's interested.)
If the other authors want to coordinate topics or collaborate on talks, let's figure it out here. If the PEP is accepted, possible topics could include (off the top of my head):
If the PEP isn't accepted, the last topic (in the form of a post-mortem) could still be quite beneficial. Either way, I'm not sure how long before the submission deadline the SC will make its final ruling, so I think it makes sense to begin thinking about this now.
