ORA-00443: background process "PMON" did not start #233

When starting up the container with docker rancher on MacBook pro M1, I receive following error.

Is there a way to solve this issue?

Hi @JeroenDeMan,

Thanks a lot for your interest in these images. Unfortunately, Oracle Database XE isn't ported onto ARM and hence does not run natively on Mac M1 chips. See here for more information on how to potentially work around that issue.
