Hey, Thank you for contributing!

I finally decided to fix it myself while adding unit tests. Since people started to contribute a little bit, it was getting increasingly useful to have something setup. It's available on npm under the version 2.1.8.

Thank you anyway, I hope you don't mind that this PR wasn't merged

No worries, I'm glad the lib is getting an update. I switched to 2.1.8 and everything works perfectly, thank you!
