Putting this here so I can get it off the action items in the meeting agenda.

“Message of the day” HTML page, then use google analytics to track how many GVL’s - Simon - working on it, works on demo but not in production yet, tbc. Needs SANITISE_HTML=FALSE in galaxy.ini - Can whitelist it.

Planning to make this optional. Have a checkbox at launch to opt-in or opt-out of message of the day.

New feature of Galaxy is webhooks. Can be installed fairly simply. Need to spend some time designing what it would look like and then installing it.
