For the week of the 5th of October:
[x] Go to the mine and check the new posts fit well into the dial gauge holder brackets.
[x] Get the scale from the draft chamber area and weigh the t=15mm thick ballast masses for the top of the IM. Theoretically they are 375 grams but that’s the 3D-CAD value.
[x] Update the SR3 IM mass budget using the measured value of the t=15mm mass.
[x] For ballast mass to add on top of BS BF, put aside two identical groups of 66 grams each (132 total).
[x] For ballast mass to add on top of SR3 BF, put aside two identical groups of 21 grams each.
[x] Find M8, M6 and M5 washers and measure their masses and outer diameters. Compare with pictures of the SR3 IM ballasts masses.
[ ] Check the size of the thread used on top of BF and F1 GAS filters for ballast masses. It should be M6.
[x] Check what BUMAX and SDC screws we have: write thread, length and weight. We want to use the as ballast masses.
[x] Look for the assembly frame cloth cover.
[ ] Weigh the F0 yaw stepper motor mechanism with the limit switches.
[ ] Look for the PEEK cable ties.
[ ] Write down the part number of the pins we've been using in the probe points of the LVDT drivers.
[x] Take a picture of the LVDT driver showing the three boards inside.
[x] Take a picture of the central board of the LVDT driver to show the probe points to use.
[x] In LVDT cards check the names of the variable resistors for the input signals. In a klog 9658 I used A,B,C and D because I didn't find labels on the board, however, Joris says they are named D0,..., D3.
[ ] Look for SDC screws in Monotaro or the like: M6 X 35 mm or longer. We will know more when we check the BS BF.
[x] Watch Mirapro opening the chambers and removing the bellows.
Recover the connection of the IM OSEMs in
[x] SRM,
[ ] SR3
[ ] SR2
[x] Wipe the ladders and step ladders.
[x] Wash the ballast masses and various components.
[x] Find the bars to lock the RM to the IM, its screws and multi-purpose cube spacers.
[x] Get the scale; buy batteries for it.
[x] Get a stainless steel table inside of the clean room by SR3 and SRM chambers.
[x] Get the tools: Allen keys, screw drivers, etc. Wipe them if they have been with dubiously cleaned components.
[x] Find the stainless steel mirror! I didn't see it when cleaning and we might need to buy a couple.
[x] Find out how to use the fibre optic camera with the Surface computer.
[x] Get the lamps and the chargers inside of the clean room. Wipe them.
[ ] Find the bubble levels.
[ ] Inspect visually SRM IM cables looking for a cable pulling.
[x] Help Shimode-san and Yokozawa-san with checking the SR3 and SR2 racks.
[x] Remove screws from the cap of BS chamber.
[x] Remove screws from the cap of SRM chanmber.
[x] Remove screws from the side door of SRM vacuum chamber.
[ ] Get the components of the BS F0 yaw stepper motor and pre-assemble it.
[ ] Check cables for F0 yaw stepper motor with limit switches:
Sato-san's alternative: minutes of the VIS meeting on 2020/08/28
Measure LVDT card resistances in:
[ ] PRM
[x] PR3
[x] PR2
[ ] BS
[ ] SR2
[ ] SR3
[ ] SRM
This is a rough To Do list for the work in SRM. Ver likely there is a Github issue open for it but I'll write it here for now:
This GitHub "issue" does not describe a real issue, but it is for writing TO DO lists of concrete actions required in Type-B work in general. The lists items are reminders and many will not necessarily be understood by others without a context, which is not given here.
