Abiword only shows the menubar with the initial document window

IMPORTANT: Before reporting an issue:

2. Make sure to include the version of Global Menu you are using

3. Make also sure to use an up-to-date VALA version if you are compiling
the source from GIT.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch abiword
2. select new from the file menu
3.

What is the expected output?
The menubar should show in the panel when any abiword window is focused

What do you see instead?
The menubar shows in the panel only for the initial window that opened on
launch.

What version of the Global Menu are you using? On what operating system?
gnome2globalmenu  0.79  from the golbalmenu-team  ppa 
ubuntu  10.4 
abiword 2.82

What version of Vala are you using? (if your Global Menu is built from git)
