IMPORTANT: Before reporting an issue:

1. Make sure the issue has not been fixed in the
latest version:
http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/issues/list?q=label:Milestone-
Release0.7.8

2. Make sure to include the version of Global Menu you are using

3. Make also sure to use an up-to-date VALA version if you are compiling
the source from GIT.

Thank you very much!

------------------------

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Global menu (only istalling, not needed to launching/add panel
2. Install FreeFileSync (or other programs, I don't know)
3. Try to find menus :)

What is the expected output?
FreeFileSync window was expected to have menus (File, Advanced, Help)

What do you see instead?
No menus

What version of the Global Menu are you using? On what operating system?
On Ubuntu 10.04; Global menù in the very latest version (I've got it up to
date with Update manager); now I can't read the version 'cause I'm in office
with my Windows Notebook. I'm using your repository.

What version of Vala are you using? (if your Global Menu is built from git)
N/A

Please provide any additional information below.
Here there's the bug I've opened on launchpad about FreeFileSync. It talks
about wxWidgets (sorry, I'm not very skilled about).

https://bugs.launchpad.net/freefilesync/+bug/603672

I have Global menu just installed (not running, not present in my panel)
although steals menus.

Hope this can be helpful for you and for someone else.

Bye.

Precisions : FreeFileSync is built on top of wxWidgets 2.8.10 and run with the
same version on Ubuntu 10.04.

I've also seen this happen with the menus in Xiphos (a Bible program), and I've
read about at least one other program that had globalmenu steal their menus,
but I can't remember what it was.
