Globalmenu enabled but menu stays within the app window #632

IMPORTANT: Before reporting an issue:

Gentoo/Funtoo Linux
globalmenu 0.7.9
vala 0.10.0
gnome 2.30.2

After a system update which updated gnome (2.28.2 to 2.30.2) and dbus 
(1.2.24-r1 to 1.4.0) globalmenu does not get the application menus anymore.
All gconf values are set, the applet settings are all ok too and i can't see 
any reason for why it should suddenly not work anymore other then maybe an abi 
break with either gnome or dbus on how the menu is exported to the applet?

Downgraded to sys-apps/dbus-1.2.24-r2 again, -> NO change

i am having same problem .the menu is still showing in apps ,like here in 
terminal
so it is not merged effectively
