Issue:
When I add the Global menu to the gnome panel and click on the preferences, I
get an an Global menu window which is blank and has no options inside of it.
   See attached screen shot.

I am using globalmenu-0.7.10 under Suse 11.2 gnome.

Hello,

I was able to finally get the thing working properly. It appears that
the blanking problem is somewhat intermittent. I was finally able
to get the apple window showing the options, and was able to get the gnome
global menu up and running on the top part of my screen.

I played around with the menu. It works very good for things like gnome
terminal,
and celestia , but not so well with firefox and thunderbird.

Cheers!

I also do get a blank options window. This happens when I place the applet into
the panel, until I restart my gnome session.

I would recommend that you go with a product called CAIRO-DOCK. Its a much
better product and works very well. It looks similar to the DOCK on the apple.

Cheers!
