v0.9 (gnome3 version) disabling extension does not bring back menu bar #680

I think this is a very important bug, when you disable the extension the menu 
bar does not come back, leaving you without any menu bar at all, because of a 
mix of this bug and the bug where certain sub menus do not open, programs like 
Inkscape are impossible for me to use certain functions.
