We shouldn’t deviate from ARCHER by accident, certainly. Bath closes over Xmas/NY period, like most universities (?but unlike MO). I think we should agree principles first, and then hack special cases.

The official list of bank holidays for the UK has a .ics file that could be used - https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays/england-and-wales.ics
