herring seems to eventually die of overload if left up for a long time? #47

We suspect this is due to some kind of resource leak, very possibly the slack listener thread getting leaked every time the discord listener thread restarts.

This is probably in some sense downstream of the listener bot thread management being fucked, see #32 .
