@labarba would it be possible for the grant to pay a stipend for a producer/editor (say $250 per month) for a student intern.

For how long? You have our budget: it has a line for paying students an honorarium that we titled "student awards" (intending for them to reward students who involve themselves in OSS). This would divert funds from that line, as we have no other budget line to draw from that is in scope.

For 1 year, but really as long as we want the support. I was thinking this would come from the services budget line if we decided we didn't need to pay for a mooc. I can advertise for an unpaid position, but I'd prefer to pay for the work.

I suppose it's alright to draw from the services budget line. As you know, I had other plans for that, but we're delayed with respect to original plans. I still want to build a learning site similar to the TOPS one, or basically upgrading my Open edX site and posting learning content there.

But before you post and begin searching for an intern, I'd like to see us have some starter raw content. I've seen a few projects involving online content that have failed because the cart was placed in front of the horse by getting infra in place before having the content.
