@rareleah It looks like it's not pulling the journal title, issue, etc. because that metadata is being stored in the "Previous Publication Information" field. It doesn't appear to me that there is a metadata field set up to contain journal info from which to pull in a citation. We can turn citations off.
With that said, I'll create a ticket in scholarspace-hyrax to look into how this type of case (article from a journal) might be handled so that its citation is created correctly.
Excellent! Thanks, Dan.
Old scholarspace is generating incorrect citations. As an example: https://scholarspace.library.gwu.edu/files/j3860697r This does not produce a complete citation. It appears it's only pulling metadata for author, title, and date and not the journal title, issue, etc. We discussed this today in ScholComm and think we should "turn off" this feature. Is that possible?
With the new scholarspace is citation creation something on your radar? Is there a plan to enhance this function? We, ScholComm, need to do more research about best practices for citing the range of materials that live in IRs.
Thanks, Leah
