What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. insert image
2. choose high resolution transparent PNG (eg. a signature)
3. save and reopen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the quality of the .png image is degraded as the document is saved and 
reopened, this doesnt 
happen if the expot to pdf happens BEFORE reopening the document

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Software version: 0.0.6 
System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)
Kernel Version: Darwin 9.8.0
