Need quick way to access tools #22

Mechcozmo suggested that the text-entry tool be easy to access from the
keyboard, perhaps by pressing command-T. One technique used by many
graphics programs is to use letters w/o the command key. For example, in
Photoshop the marquee can be accessed by pressing 'm'. I think something
like this would work great. perhaps 't' for text, 'r' for rectangle, etc.

I just checked in a change for this to the subversion tree. The current
shortcuts are: m - arrow/marquee tool; e -
ellipse tool; u - rectangle tool; p - pen tool; t -type tool; x - checkmark
tool.

Please verify when Formulate 0.3 is released.

Thanks,
-andrew

As of 0.3 all shortcut keys as they ought to, however in all the programs that
I use the arrow is accessed by
pressing the 'a' button. Just throwing out there as a suggestion, but it
really doesn't matter either way.

Hate to be dense, but I just found these shortcuts. (would love if they were
somehow explained in some sort of docs.
They are very useful, but is there a way to switch from the text tool back to
some other tool? You can switch between ellipse and check box and pen using key
commands, but as soon as you make a text box, you can't press a key to get to a
new tool, it just puts that letter in the text box.
Very frustrating.
