Unable to find match gyazo - CentOS 8 #144

Forgive me, I'm still learning linux. I followed the instructions on how to install gyazo on my CentOS 8 but after running the command sudo yum install gyazo i would see that it would look through "gyazo_gyazo-for-linux" and the source whatever it was, it would then say no match found. I already tried doing sudo yum update and that didn't work.

I'm not a linux user, but try to figure out what happened.

So, it seems at least I reproduced the issue.

I saw this in README, https://github.com/gyazo/Gyazo-for-Linux#warning-troubleshooting

Install rpm package, write os to el and version to 6

but I'm not sure what this mean...

I guess that the package is meant for version 6 of CentoOS or Enterprise Linux and version 8 is not directly supported yet...

RPM for EL8 is not listed on here. Image from Gyazo

Maybe, it's because one of the dependencies, ImageMagick has been removed from official RPM registry at EL8. But it's available on EPEL. So, you can install Gyazo as bellow.

# Enable EPEL
$ yum install -y https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-8.noarch.rpm

# Download Gyazo RPM from packagecloud
$ wget --content-disposition https://packagecloud.io/gyazo/gyazo-for-linux/packages/el/7/gyazo-1.3.1-1.x86_64.rpm/download.rpm

# Install Gyazo
$ yum install -y gyazo-1.3.1-1.x86_64.rpm
