OS: Arch Linux - up to date
For Linux, please also include your distribution name and version. -->
Linux Desktop Manager: NA - openbox w/ tint2 for systray
Birdtray version: 1.9.0 or git c9fc05f via AUR
Thunderbird version: 102.5.1
Birdtray origin: AUR build from source
Qt version: qt5-svg - 5.15.7+kde+r9-1 qt5-x11extras - 5.15.7-1
Description
I don't send mail all too often so I don't know when in the 100+ cycle of Thunderbird this started, but outbound networking is broken completely when running TB under birdtray. Saving drafts (IMAP) and sending (SMTP submission) don't work. Checking mail and moving it around different folders in the same account does work, inter-account movement does not.
Expected behavior
The described functions should work as typical, which they do if I run thunderbird without birdtray.
I've found this is a stray env variable in the WM environment that isn't picked up when starting thunderbird seperately. For the curious, an assignment to "TMP" of ~/.cache
