Clarity needed regarding the Flathub version (possibly by linking it from the Github page) #598

The flatpak version is labeled as made by "ulduzsoft" on Flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/com.ulduzsoft.Birdtray The website of the author on github is also ulduzsoft.com While the Flatpak is labeled as "Unverified", it is not too uncommon for smaller developers to not verify their own apps on Flathub. However the issue with Birdtray specifically is that the developer has not linked and acknowledged the existence of the Flathub version on the Github page. So users are left to wonder if the uploader on Github is the developer or an impersonator.

This is especially problematic since the Linux Mint team, starting with the latest 22 version of their distro, by default hide unverified flatpaks from the Software Manager and label them as dangerous to use.

Users should at least be able to learn on the main Github page whether the flatpak is by the developer and how to install it from the console. Right now, it is only mentioned where the config files of the flatpak version are located but there is no mentioned whether official flatpak even exists or if the info is for users using versions of the app packaged into a flatpak by 3rd parties.

No disrespect is intended in this message, thank you for developing this app.

The Flatpak is inofficial and distributed/packaged by a third-party: https://github.com/gyunaev/birdtray/issues/576#issuecomment-2227692417

If you do not want (or cannot) use builds by your distribution (which are packaged by a third-party as well), you will either have to trust the external Flatpak maintainer or build the package yourself according to the instructions inside the README.

Has the dev given the 3rd party permision to use the name "ulduzsoft" on Flathub? If not, it maybe should be reported?
