Save as encrypted or compressed? #53

Could you come up with a way to automatically encrypt or compress the
exported website files?

We are putting our company operations manual on a Google site. This will
need to be available offline for our field employees, who often have sketchy
internet access. However I do not want them to take the information with
them when they leave the company. Therefore if the local copy is encrypted
or compressed then that would solve that problem. As long as it would need a
lot of effort by an ex-employee to manually decrypt or make sense of it. I
guess Google Gears does the same?

Thanks very much for your efforts, this is exactly what we need.

I think that this is outside the scope of this particular tool. From your
description, it sounds like you're trying to
apply DRM [1] to the downloaded content. If this is a requirement, I would
look for a system that will allow you
to add the DRM to the site export after it has been downloaded with this tool
and then distribute the protected
copy.
