I am glad it is of help! I was a big fan of the ALIX board, as well, it's just that the OpenVPN performance of the APU-2 was not where I wanted.

Since I live in a slow-internet area, and use Wireguard, I'm not as much impacted.

securityrouter.org is an OpenBSD-based router OS with Web interface (though sadly its discontinuation has been announced for the end of 2021).

Ah, thanks for the link! Didn't know about that one, yet. Sad to see they are already EOL.
