I cannot create a new private project.

Describe the bug When I create a project and give it a title and image. It does not show the project.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Create a Project'
2. Fill in the Project name and Project Cover Image
3. Click on 'Create Project'
4. Project does not appear.

Expected behavior The Create Project box should close and a project should be added to the list of projects.

Additional context When I open the Acorn menu and select about application it says the version is 0.1.0 This is kinda un related but saw it when I was checking the version of Acorn.

Thanks for logging this issue. We are becoming aware that a number of features aren't working well in the released version, that were working fine in the development version, and I am guessing that this is one of them.

I am used to it taking about 5-10 seconds to finish creating the project tho, and for it to appear in the list, but obviously that never happened at all for you?

Hi @Kasimirsuterwinter we've made the update I discussed now, and released it. Because you had a prior version, you will need to take one extra step. It involves clearing configuration files from the last version from your system, here's the steps:

1. Open Finder
2. In Menu, go to Go -> Go to folder
3. Copy paste in ~/Library/Application Support/Acorn to the text field, and click Go.
4. Select all files in the folder you navigated to, looks like this:
5. Delete those

Now, you can launch the new Acorn version you download from https://github.com/h-be/acorn-release/releases/tag/v0.3.3

Let's see if after you do that the issue is resolved

Also, we fixed the odd version number thing you saw, where it said v0.1.0. It now says the right version

@Connoropolous Just played around with the new version and it works wonderfully! I was curious if there will be the possibility to create cards higher up the tree as well, or if it will only work to add cards further down the true? Like right now when I make a first card, and then another connected, it is automatically a child of the first card. How do I make a parent card?

We are very close to releasing a new version that let's you connect unconnected cards, and form a child-parent connection. The quick create will still be for children, but you will be able to create a new Goal and then connect it as a parent
