g+click to create new goal/card leaves extraneous g in card text

Reproducing steps:

1. Open Acorn v0.1.0 on macOS
2. Select existing card
3. Press g+click on canvas to create a new card
4. Type title of newly created card but do not click outside or press enter/return/save
5. Press g+click on canvas to create a new card

Expected result:

• card from reproducing step 3 is saved with title as typed
• a new card is created on the canvas as a child/linked to the card from reproducing step 3

Actual result:

• card from reproducing step 3 is saved with title as typed appended with a "g" character
• a new card is created on the canvas as a child/linked to the card from reproducing step 3

Environment:

• Acorn v0.1.0
• macOS Electron .app

In general, I am feeling more certainty that the action for creating cards must be changed to address:

• accessibility (for people with varying ways of interacting with the application, for touch screen devices, etc.; please consult Wikipedia on web accessibility, W3C standard WAI and WCAG, or more generally accessibility)
• intuitive interaction with cards and canvas
• ability to link cards and existing tree structures to cards
