If you commit to gh without defining the hashnode username, the post comes up with my name.
If you overwrite the original post file, it updates the post on the website (but also if you create a new post with the same slug as any previous post, hashnode will overwrite it (: )
If you push files to other branch than main, it won't create a post - useful if you want to save your work.
The only way to delete a post is through hashnode, but it doesn't remove it from the github repo
