SmartassV2 governor does not ramp down #4

When governor is switched to SmartassV2, the CPU stays stuck at the maximum frequency step. When using ondemand or lulzactive, the CPU appears to ramp down as needed.

I just tested smartassV2 on h0tw1r3 CM9 10.1. It's working fine for me, although a little jumpy on the cpu freq's for my taste, it went to deep sleep just fine.

What OS flavor (AOSP, CM9, stock) are you using? Are you sure there are no background processes running? I know that SmartassV2 is more aggressive/sensitive than ondemand.

Tested for 10 minutes, general usage:

SmartassV2 Governor

I am using stock ROM, with system tuner to set CPU clock. Not sure what was running in the background. I was also charging the phone during my test, so that might have affected it as well. It's no biggie though, lulzactive seems even better than smartassV2. On lulzactive governor, I can't make the tweaks made by the lulzactive tweaker program from the market stick between reboots. Does this kernel support init.d scrips yet? If so I can make a script to set the any tweaks on boot.

You can close this. It might have been something in the background. I got smartass to work right, the next time I enabled it.
