[AWS] No permissions to copy the deepwater-dallas-v4 AMI between regions #31

Even though the AMI is public, the storage isn't so I am unable to copy it to a separate region.

Is there a reason for this? If not, can you remove that restriction?

I can't even find the AMI in the Marketplace :-)

You need to do a search for public AMIs in the US east (N. Virginia) region :)

The problem for me is that all my data and aws infrastructure lives in a separate region and because the deepwater AMI storage is private, I can't copy the AMI to that region.

Right now I'm resorting to manually building deepwater and its dependencies but it would be nice to have copy rights.

We have copied it to all us regions now, you can search in public ami in each region and locate it now thanks.
