H3ABioNet funding info should be acknowledged
- Add an about page?
An H3ABioNet banner should be readily visible in these pages.
- In the current theme, adding a banner at top makes the pages seem too crowded (the header tag is commented out in the markdown)
The site needs to be linked with social media
- This is in place, and also users can be able to directly share to their accounts in Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google plus.
- Users can post comments to the site using Facebook, but a little work is needed (in terms of sending the comment to our Facebook plugin- or email account), or maybe use another commenting plug-in
There are other types of SOPs being developed as well
The
masterbranch is based on the Cayman theme, which is really nice. However, for the longer SOPs, navigation and scrolling down the page becomes somewhat cumbersome. Alternative views are implemented in the other 2 branches:tst_cayman_sidebaruses the samecaymantheme as master, but adds a few buttons at the top for easier navigation (instead of the download links), and there is also a side bar hosting the table of contents for the given page.tst_minimal_mistakeshas better control abilities for the location of the table of contents, and its also easier to link to the page's authors (as in the RNA Seq SOP for example).
