I have the same problem. This happened on a server where I successfully used the ftp-remote-edit package for a long time. Now I am not able to connect to the server anymore. Re configuring or re installing the ftp-remote-edit package do not solve the problem. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey there 👋 same problem here after hardening ssh server : Handshake failed: no matching client->server HMAC :(
