Upgrade Description not working

Hello,

I try to update from vimar_plattform to vimar integration using your guide, but I'm struggling with this step:

• find and backup the file: .storage/core.entity_registry within your home-assistant config directory

There is no such file (btw: im using Maria DB). There is only a 1 Gig file called home-assistant_v2.db. Any suggestions?

hi, i think the .db file is only used for the history

this storage file should be hidden - also i am running HA in docker container on linux. i am not sure how it is stored on other operating systems.

the other way is to:

• remove the vimar_platform first from the custom_components directory and the configuration.yaml
• restart HA, go to the settings and remove all unavailable vimar_platform entities
• copy the new vimar directory from the release zip file to custom_components and reactivate the settings with vimar ibstead of vimar_platform
• in this case you have to manually go through all scripts, automations and dashboard and replace linked entities.
