Shouldn't there be a

<link rel="author" href="humans.txt" />

in the index.html?

FagnerMartinsBrack commented 11 years ago

That file is not meant for robots, so why link it?

dctr commented 11 years ago

It is suggested that way on http://humanstxt.org/

sarukuku commented 11 years ago

It shouldn't be linked. Just having it on the site root is enough. No reason to change this. Terveisin, Joonas Salovaara Consultant Trainee at Affecto

If it is advised (by humanstxt.org) to insert « » to the of your index file so you should do it. How a human is supposed to know the existence of humans.txt ? He can be helped with by a search engine for example.

This issue should be reopened ; I have added the link to my website's index.

This doesn't need to be reopened. We won't want to make this change. But feel free to add it to your own projects.
