I wrote about it a bit back so I would be happy to update it with the disclaimer. Should have done this ages ago. http://blog.grayghostvisuals.com/css/sayonara-faux-columns-hello-flexbox/

The above content is available as a gist here.
I'd make the disclaimer simple. An one-liner, something like: "This article is outdated. Up-to-date information about Flexbox can be found…". The question is, where should the disclaimer point to? Maybe to the HTML5Please info box?
Okay I tried to best summarize the flexbox state in the html5please flexbox box: http://html5please.com/#flexbox
Hows this for a warning at the top?
This article is outdated and no longer accurate. Find up-to-date information about flexbox at HTML5 Please.
@paulirish Sounds F2M :+1:
dennis can you try reaching out to all the authors? Maybe ideal to just cc them into this ticket.

I've added @paulirish's note to both http://www.the-haystack.com/2010/01/23/css3-flexbox-part-1/ and http://www.the-haystack.com/2012/01/04/learn-you-a-flexbox/ (maybe I should also just write a new version of that one).
My article covers the latest spec and is not deprecated. Is it on this list for some other reason?

It's been painful for people who are looking up flexbox to find articles covering the old legacy flexbox. And get foncused.
Nowadays we have a solid amount of documentation for new flexbox as well as strategies for targeting both implementations (and the in-between IE10 "tweener" impl).
So... we can adorn all the older flexbox articles with a big warning/disclaimer that directs people off those page to more updated articles.
I wrote this warning for my old html5rocks flexbox article, but even it's out of date now.
@dstorey and @simevidas and I kicked off a list of these articles: http://oksoclap.com/p/deprecatedflexboxarticles :arrow_backward: :arrow_backward: I think that's mostly it, but if you have more to add, please do.
Next up.. Let's come up with a recommended disclaimer. There are a few articles out there (starting with Bocoup's guide and Chris's article on targeting both) that we want to point people to. And a few tools like Flexbox Please and Flexplorer. This has sorta been summarized on http://html5please.com/#flexbox
What needs to be done
Sound mostly good? Anyone wanna help?
