Migration to androidx? #468

Hi there! Thank you very much for your awesome library! I migrated to androidx since couple of days, and I would like to know if you plan to migrate too? Thank you!

Hey, From what I can tell the library have already been migrated to use androidx (#456), however no new release have been published yet.

@h6ah4i is there any timeline available for when the next release might be released? or are you waiting for additional changes? if so, is there anything we can help?
