Combining workflow with mrQ #29

My data were acquired according to the mrQ toolbox protocol, and I want to use these SPGR data(Field Strength = 3T; Flip angle = 4º, 10º, 20º, 30º; TR = 14 ms; TE = 1.97, 3.52, 5.07, 6.62, 8.17, 9.72 ms) to calculate R2* map using hMRI toolbox.

I have a few questions about combining hMRI workflow with mrQ. Are all my SPGR data are PD-weighted? If I only want to calculate the R2* map, does B1 or RF bias correction needed? If needed, can I use the B1 map and RF coil gain data produced by mrQ for B1 and RF bias correction in hMRI?

I tested for each flip-angle SPGR data with pre-processed B1 option using T1w and B1_map (in same space, but different from the space of raw SPGR data input into hMRI) produced by mrQ, but hMRI log showed B1 bias correction not applied, and because no MT- or T1-weighted data were input, the Unified Segmentation RF correction was not applied too.

(1) R2* map [s-1] (R2s)
 - ESTATICS model (OLS R2* map calculation)
 - B1+ bias correction does not apply
 - no RF sensitivity bias correction

After that, I averaged the R2s_OLS.nii from four flip-angle data. The results looks noisy. Could you give me some suggestions on this.
