@haozi tried with many different spoofers and also in your screenshot there is no redirect to bing button at search bar next to lens as that seems to be the problem so please try again with same setting i have , listed above

I don't understand which "spoofers" you are referring to. Could you please provide a specific scenario that can be reproduced, along with screenshots or additional details?

Additionally, I did not spoof the userAgent for Google. I only spoofed the userAgent for bing.com.

moodynooby commented 1 year ago

@haozi I will try my best to explain it here So what happens is I use a user_agent spoofer and I think you injecting a button at top of Google which is button to redirect search to bing is messing with user_agent as once I remove access to Google it works fine

Uf you can't understand I will attach screenshot tomorrow thanks for the help

The display issue with the "switch to bing.com button" might be related to the timing of injection, yes, that's really a little bug.

However, in the case of Google's domain, regardless of whether the "switch to bing.com button" is injected, the userAgent is not modified. The modification of the userAgent to mimic Edge only occurs on the www.bing.com website.

I would like to know which extension you used to modify the user agent. I wanna check if there is a conflict between two extensions.

@haozi unlikely since i have uses multiple extensions in multiple mode but here you go https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-labs-fixer/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-string-switcher/

moodynooby commented 1 year ago

Maybe this could conflict - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bard-for-search-engines/ Havent tried it in an isolated space

haozi commented 1 year ago
