I'm not using the plugin anymore myself so do a "major" update on the extension is not really on my to-do list. More than happy if someone has a pull request to make it compatible.

I started using einpraegsam/powermailrecaptcha in the meantime. Its nearly the same!

Great. I think it is good I shutdown this plugin (because it seems maintenance is really needed) and advise people to use the plugin of Alex himself.
