Make persistent functionality for GGIR als work in Windows #77

From https://github.com/habitus-eu/HabitusGUI/issues/54#issuecomment-1498731503 it has become clear that the persistent functionality recently added does not work in Windows. Although, Windows is not our key focus it would help to make HabitusGUI compatible with Windows again to ease testing.

Spent half a day on this and it seems this non-trivial. The app is not designed for Windows OS, so I will close this now and we will have to find an alternative solution.
