Inverter output not dropping to zero when going to sleep #87

I have a problem that every night when my inverter goes to sleep, the output doesn't drop to zero and it stays at that reading until the inverter wakes the next morning. I restarted the addon right before taking the screenshot, that is why it went to zero.

My inverter is connecting with bluetooth.

If you hit the 3 dots(hamburger) on the previous page of that image you will device info option. That takes you to the settings page.

On the settings page you should see a MQTT info button that will show debug info, it will have the last 10 mqtt messages received AC power comes from PACTot line in the mqtt message. You should check if that is actually receiving 0 at night.

If it is not sending 0, you will need to figure out why. Perhaps the time is off on your inverter or something. There is not any data processing done by the addon. Sbfspot does that, so it may worth checking if a stand alone version of sbfspot is sending none 0 mqtt data at night.

If it is sending 0 at night Home-Assistant might be doing some statistical data management. I am not sure where you would check that off the top of my head.

Found the issue. Didn't have my lattitude set to negative so Sbfspot thought I was in the northern hemisphere. Found it in this whirpool post https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/30y8rl19
