How do you fit in with the community?
Hi, the DeterminateSystems account was created before the corporate account policy. The account was frozen, we've chatted with Quintessence Anx, and are ready to verify :).
We're deeply steeped in hacking and enthusiast culture, and have all contributed to OSS communities for decades.
Our account and work is focused on Nix, Linux, Rust, and occasionally Windows and macOS.
Note that we agree to the Specialized Account Expectations.
How will you ensure the community is protected?
DetSys is comprised of tech professionals across four continents, with a deep interest in inclusive and respectful communities. We believe strongly in communities moderating their spaces as appropriate for that space.
We don't post junk content, mostly blogs about work we're doing in and around the Nix space. We're not about low effort memey marketing gimmicks or growth hacking. We appreciate the type of people who use Mastodon, and the types of posts that make sense for that audience.
