NS on Firefox triggers "InternalError: too much recursion" and infinite "save" dialogs on Economist.com article even when restrictions disabled #373

This may be an issue with the website but I'm also reporting here.

  1. Install NoScript in Firefox
  2. Open a new tab, in NoScript choose "Disable restrictions for this tab"
  3. Recommended: Open Task Manager, choose "Options>Always on top", highlight Firefox and be ready to click "End Task" button
  4. Navigate to an Economist article, ex. https://www.economist.com/interactive/graphic-detail/2024/07/26/how-long-would-it-take-to-read-the-greatest-books-of-all-time . Note there is no need to be logged into Economist to see the issue. This does not happen on all articles.

Result: The page loads partially then after several seconds an endless series of dialogs pop up reading, "Enter name of file to save to..." appear and the whole system drags to a crawl. None of the popup dialogs are responsive to mouse clicks. With the FF debug console open I see "InternalError: too much recursion".
