Seems you might be right. It has worked on previous versions, but maybe not on
the Wii.

I can't seem to start the Emulator at all..
When I try to boot it, there is a huge code dump, and the homebrew freeze. What
can
I do to get past this..?

I had the same issue. It seems that if you have a memory card in slot A, it will
freeze when loading the menu and produce a code dump of some kind. If I recall,
this
is not an issue with the emulator, but rather something deep in the drivers
that make
the SD card work.

passcual, it's a libOGC wii remote bug. To fix, power down your Wii, remove from
power, plug back in, turn it on from power button then sync controller again
from red
button.

For me the game lag so much. Like 5FPS. And I can't use my Classic Controler,
it's
doesn't respond to any buttons.

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
LordStew, I don't think that has anything to do with this bug report, but
anyways, we
know its not full speed, its still not done yet. As for your classic
controller, try
unplugging it and replugging it in and it should work, there must be a bug in
wiiuse
that prevents the expansion type from being set properly or something.

@equi_...@hotmail.com:

I have the same problem, but with majora's mask :( i've tried rebooting the wii,
removing the gamecube memory card, and downloading a different rom, but still
doesn't
work.

Original comment by mr.jell...@googlemail.com on 14 Mar 2009 at 11:52

@ mr.jell64

Majora's Mask requires a memory expansion pack in the N64. As far as I know,
Wii64/mupen64gc doesn't support games that use memory expansion packs yet.

I don't have the Homebrew Channel, I updated my system to 3.4 as soon as I got
the
Wii because I couldn't access the Shop otherwise (I didn't know about Wii
Homebrew
then). I can run Gamecube Homebrew apps using Datel's SD Media Launcher on the
Wii,
but so far the only emulator that doesn't recognise and read from the SD card is
Mupen64GC. It freezes if I choose to boot from either the SD card or DVD.
