release schedule for v1.4.23 #18

Hi folks,

Sorry as this isn't really an "issue" but i would like to package gsocket. However I would like to avoid backporting patches like the 2 I have contributed that are kind of required before I could ship gsocket. I tried send a ping on twitter without success.

Would it be possible to get an early 2021 git tag released? :cat:

Next release will (hopefully) include file transfer and some other features in gs-netcat. More work than I thought as I decided to make it 'hacker friendly' with some neat features (like retaining file dates and auto-rescheduling downloads...e.g. when downloading a huge database and you add another smaller file to the download queue then the gs-netcat will switch to the smaller file first and re-start the db download later). It's also fast as shit (faster than scp!) especially when adding hundreds of small files. Hopefully finished soon. Send me any other patches you have and I'll include them. thanks for helping.
